Service Call: This annual service includes a 25-point inspection and service as necessary.

Service Call-Repair: The Service call is also used for repairs to existing systems, which still includes the 25-point inspection and evaluates which repairs are necessary.

Dryer vent: Dryer vent cleaning can be added to the service call listed above.

Inspections

Leaking Fireplace: Evaluates what condition is causing the fireplace to leak water. This is a comprehensive inspection to determine what condition of the installation is incorrect or damaged to cause leaking.

Smoking Fireplace: Evaluates what condition is causing the fireplace to smoke. This is a comprehensive inspection to determine if the fireplace is incorrectly installed, damaged, or is cause by other environmental conditions.

Pre-Listing Inspection: This inspection will prepare you for the problems that exist in your fireplace prior to listing your home for sale.

Re-sale Inspection: Fireplace inspections prior to the close of Escrow can save lives and property. Fireplace repair, replacement, or restoration can be expensive.
Remodel Evaluation: Remodeling a room with a fireplace? Check to see if the fireplace is in good condition before installing expensive materials.

High Efficient Inspection: This inspection determines if your masonry chimney can handle a more efficient appliance like a wood-burning insert.

Chimney Fire Inspections: This service inspects the fireplace to determine if a chimney fire has damaged the chimney.

Proposals in Real Estate Transactions: It is SOOTY'S Policy not to offer any repair work or estimates when an inspection is performed for a real estate transaction. This is done to keep an un-biased opinion regarding the condition of the fireplace/chimney. If a proposal is needed an additional charge will apply and must be indicated prior to the arrival of the inspection property.

Annual Service / Repairs to existing systems:
Scheduling a service call is simple with Sooty’s online scheduling system. Fill in the information for your property. When you get to the end of the form just under “Number of Chim-Scans?” DO NOT check the box that says “Additional Services only”. The list of available services can be selected already. You do not need to select anything for our standard service call. Follow the rest of the required fields and confirm your appointment.
Inspections / Installations Estimates / Consultation / Restoration:
Scheduling inspections or installation estimates is simple with Sooty’s online scheduling system.
Fill in the information for your property. Important! When you get to the end of the form on the first page just under “Number of Chim-Scans?” Check the box that says “Additional Services only”. This will activate the services that you are interested in and can be selected after a few seconds. Select service/services, follow the rest of the required fields and confirm your appointment.

If you live outside of the Lake Arrowhead –Crestline-Running Springs area please check which zone your in and check the appropriate box.
After confirmation: You will be receiving an email with a service agreement attached. Please read carefully and follow the instructions. This attachment has important information about our service.
